From your first look at our Company web site (southwest.com) to boarding our aircraft, our Technology Department allows our Customers the freedom to purchase tickets, check in for flights, and board our 737s. These innovative professionals have the opportunity to create new applications and support our existing infrastructure by using a wide variety of technologies that impact our Employees, our Customers, and the airline industry.
- Technical Services:
Use sharp troubleshooting skills to rescue our Employees from technical challenges. When trouble appears, Technical Services is here! - Technology Engineering:
Responsible for the design and third-level support of server infrastructure, desktop components, networks, key infrastructure software, business continuity planning (BCP), and Data Center facilities. These challenging tasks are tackled by our bright and talented Engineers. These imaginative individuals take ownership and discover new and innovative methods that have a great impact on the future of Southwest Airlines.

Locations: A majority of these Teams are located at our Headquarters in Dallas, Texas. We also have four other technical shops around the country that help maintain and keep our systems running.
