- The departure and arrival cities and travel date are displayed above the flight schedule grid.
- The Flights column lists the flight number for each flight.
- The departure and arrival times are listed in the Departs and Arrives columns, respectively.
- Departure and arrival times are listed in local time of their respective cities.
- The Stops column indicates if a flight stops between the departure and arrival cities.
- If this column lists only a number greater than 0 (such as 1), the plane will stop during the flight but you will not get off the plane.
- If a city code is listed in addition to a number (such as HOU/1), you must change planes in the listed city.
- The number in the Stops column indicates the total number of stops that will occur during the flight, including the stop at the connecting city.
- If 0 is listed in the Stops column, the flight is nonstop.
- Applicable fare types (Business Select, Anytime, Wanna Get Away, etc.) are displayed in the columns to the right of the Stops column. A fare type is available for a flight only if an empty circle is displayed in the grid where the flight's row and the fare type's column intersect.
- If Unavailable is displayed in the grid, the flight is either sold out or the fare is not valid for the travel date you selected.
- You may need to change the day or time of travel to find an available fare on a flight.
- Fares may be offered only for a limited time. Fares are not guaranteed until they are purchased. To take advantage of a lower fare, we recommend that you purchase travel for the fare as soon as you see that the fare is available.
- You can purchase your Southwest Airlines flight up to one hour before scheduled departure time.
