Corporate Headquarters
Southwest Airlines Corporate Headquarters is located in Dallas, Texas. This is where many corporate departments are located, as well as three thousand Employees.
Headquarters Decoration
One of the things that makes Southwest’s Headquarters unique is the lively way that the building is decorated. Murals painted on the wall depict important events, programs and ideals at the airline.
Southwest adds a personal touch to the Headquarters building by hanging one-of-a-kind pictures on each and every wall. The walls are covered with picture of Employees’ families, pets, parties, and ads from Southwest’s history.
Southwest has a fun-filled past of more than 30 years. One way that the company keeps history fresh in Employees’ minds is by displaying old company uniforms throughout the building. Fashion sure has come a long way!
Dispatch
One department housed at Headquarters is Dispatch. Here Dispachers spend their days looking at computer screens and monitoring flight traffic. Without Dispach, our Pilots would be lost.
Maintenance
Another department that can be found at Headquarters is Maintenance. Dallas has one of Southwest’s 10 maintenance centers. These Employees keep the planes flying safe.
The Landing
When Southwest Employees or their guests get hungry, it is time to visit The Landing. In the company cafeteria, chefs cook up everything from hamburgers and pizza to steak and grilled tuna.
