Based on the planned airspace closure in the Washington, D.C. area, our scheduled service to the following destination(s) on the date(s) below may be disrupted (flights may be delayed, diverted, and/or canceled):

Customers holding reservations to, from, or through the city(s) listed above on the corresponding date(s) who want to alter their travel plans may rebook or travel standby (within 14 days of their original date of travel between the original city pairs and in accordance with our accommodation procedures) without paying additional charges. 

Additionally, if your flight is canceled or significantly delayed by Southwest and you choose to cancel your trip as a result, you may be eligible for a refund for the unused ticket (even if your ticket was non-refundable) and any Optional Travel Charges (such as EarlyBird or Upgraded Boarding) you paid for the flight(s) on which you don’t travel. In order to provide our Customers with maximum flexibility, Customers scheduled to travel to/from DCA during this time period may also change their origin/destination to Baltimore/Washington, MD - BWI or Washington (Dulles), D.C. - IAD without paying any additional charge.

Customers who purchased their flights via Southwest.com or our mobile app or by calling Southwest Airlines are eligible to reschedule their travel plans online or from their mobile device.
